Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on the 10th of March the year 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to the accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die manufacturer as well as former worker in the factory Joseph William Stone II. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are three of her siblings. Stone was in second grade when she was five years old. She was considered to be gifted in the academic area.
