As a young girl her family was surrounded by host of television shows, such as her sister, Karla Martinez (Host of Univision's Despierta America! She grew up around television hosts, such as her sister Karla Martinez. (Host Despierta America on Univision)! Andrew Martinez is the vice president for Safety, Security as well as business Resiliency at Southern California Edison, one of America's largest electric utilities. He oversees SCE's policies and programs focused on worker safety corporate security and business resiliency that are the top priorities for SCE. Martinez provides to safety leaders across the company the support in the form of mentorship and programs that are effective in order to meet their goal of safety for their group. Martinez was director for Safety Training and Compliance in Transmission & Distribution for SCE before assuming his current role. In the past, he was as the director of Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services at SCE. In his 30-year career at SCE, he was in several leadership roles, including the ones at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station SONGS.
