Angelica Bengtsson

Angelica Therese Bengtsson (Swedish track and field athlete) is well-known by her pole-vaulting skills. She took home the inaugural Summer Youth Olympics, held in Singapore 2010 as the first woman to attain the pole vault's success. Bengtsson has been awarded gold medals in the 2009 World Youth Championships and the 2010 World Junior Championships in Athletics. Angelica Panganiban, born on 4 November 1986 in Payatas (Quezon City) was the child of a Filipina mother. Her biological mom is a Filipina and she died in 2008, and was buried there. Mark Charlson who is her father is American and from Iowa. He was a retired US Navy officer. Mark Charlson her father is retired U.S. Navy from Iowa. He served on the U.S.S. O'Brien, stationed at the Philippines. Annabelle Panganiban welcomed her when she was a baby, and her grandparents Adolfo Panganiban aided her with her upbringing.
